Terri Schiavo

I got so mad today when I found out that she was dead, and then for the first time saw the videos that showed her reacting to people and things. Seeing those just really brought home to me what really was going on, what really happened. I wanted to deck someone. Someone who was responsible, preferably Mr. Schiavo or that one so called judge.

Then I thought about how angry I was and why. I dont get angry easily but this really worked me up. I know its good to be outraged against such injustice. But I almost wanted to kill someone. Really! A lot of good that would have done.

Then I thought about what Christ did and what they did to Him. What I did to Him.

None of us are that different. We are all horrible people. Were pretty screwed up. Its only by the grace of God that I am where I am. But if I rellied on His grace more I could be so much more like Christ. What a horrible person I am really. That judge and others are responsible for the death of a woman, a creation of God. I am responsible for the death of the Son of God, God Himself.

That cools me off a good deal. How can I be mad at someone for causing an unjust death when I myself am responsible for a much much more henious crime?

Sexual assaults in the military

The answer to this problem is to not allow women in the military. What do you expect to happen in those sort of situations and conditions?

Fun Tester - Weird Quotient - How weird are you?

What is your weird quotient? Click to find out!

Apparently I am very normal. But maybe thats not a good test because it included several questions about things like knowing binary and knowing order of opperation. By the way, that quotient means that only of other peoplw who took the test 1% are more normal than I, 2% are as normal, and 97% are wierder. Wierd...

The Union Street Militia

The Union Street Militia had a jam session this afternoon. It was lotsa fun. We played a bunch of Coldplay. Especially The Scientist and Clocks. Tom is back from the Dominican Republic and he brought his keyborad down to the basement with the rest of the instruments and that really added a lot. Especially to The Scientist and Clocks. I played acoustic guitar and Dan played drums. Sort of. Hes just learning. Like the rest of us. But hes good still. And a lot of those songs are easy to play drums to. Especially Clocks. Next we gotta learn Beautifull Day by U2. Ive already got the basic chords, but I need to figure out the whole song.

After the jam session, Dan and Aaron and I went to Aarons place and flew Flight Sim. We are such a bunch of airplane nuts. Its great

only a few weeks left!

Wow! Classes get out May 6th. That is so soon. I cant belive this semester went so quickly.

The Quest Kodiak

I saw the Kodiak last Saturday when it flew into Felts here. It is one awesome plane. Huge. Beautiful too. The pilot said he was getting 190 Kts in cruise. Flying that thing will be so great. There were a lot of guys from all over the airport that came around to gawk at it. The word is getting around. People want this thing. Guys are wanting to get rid of their Caravans and get one of these. I imagine there is going to be a huge list of buyers after the Alaskan Trade fair when Quest will officially "unveil" this thing.

Ive tried to post pictures but it doesnt like to for some reason, so if you click here you can look at them in my webshots photo album.

High Tech Psalm

(someone posted this to a forum that im part of)

The Lord is my programmer. I shall not crash.
He installed His software on the hard disk of my heart;
All of His commands are user-friendly;
His directory guides me to the right choices for His name's sake.
Even though I scroll through the problems of life,
I will fear no bugs, for He is my backup;
His password protects me;
He prepares a menu before me in the presence of my enemies;
His help is onle a stroke away.
Surely goodness and mercy will follw me all of the days of my life,
And my file will be merged with His and saved forever.
